Decimal Odds and Implied Probability
A simple implied probability estimate is 1 divided by decimal odds. Odds of 2.00 imply about 50% before margin; 1.50 implies about 66.7%; 3.00 implies about 33.3%. These figures do not predict one match outcome.
| Market | What to verify | Risk note |
| Match winner | Draw, regular time or extra time rules | Settlement period matters. |
| Handicap | Line, push and partial settlement rules | Quarter lines can confuse records. |
| Totals | Full match, half, team or player total | Wrong scope changes result. |
| Live betting | Suspensions and odds movement | Emotional decisions can multiply bets. |
Bankroll Discipline
- Set stake size before the match.
- Record market, odds and reason for the bet.
- Pause after goals, cards or injuries.
